Costa Adeje is usually the cleanest answer for nicest overall. It has a good mix of comfort, beaches, and easier holiday logistics. Families like it, couples like it, and it is a solid choice if you want a smooth trip without too much hassle.
Puerto de la Cruz is nicer if you want a more local atmosphere and do not mind cooler weather. For pure convenience and comfort, though, Costa Adeje usually comes out on top.
