Callao Salvaje is one of the quietest resort areas that still makes sense for a stay. It’s smaller, slower, and far less busy than the big south coast names. That sounds appealing if you want actual downtime, but I should say it also means fewer restaurants, less atmosphere, and not much to do once the sun goes down.
La Caleta can also feel calm, though it’s more upscale and not as low key in price. If you want quiet but still easy access to busier places, Callao Salvaje is a decent compromise.
