Parts of it are, yes, but the summit hike itself is probably too much for most younger kids. The park has easier viewpoints and shorter walks that work well with children, and those are usually the smarter choice.
The higher you go, the more the altitude and cold start to matter. I’d treat it as a family day out, not a kid friendly mountain summit mission.
