Dress for cold, wind, and sun all at once, which sounds ridiculous until you’re there. A warm layer, a windproof jacket, decent shoes, and sun protection are the basics.
The top can feel much colder than the coast, and the ground can be rough and dusty. I’d also carry water, because the dry air sneaks up on you.
