Playa de los Guios near Los Gigantes is one of the better places for snorkelling, mainly because the water can be clear and the setting is more interesting than your average resort beach.
Small coves and calmer rocky stretches around the south west can also work well if the sea is flat. You’re not really coming to Tenerife for coral reef style snorkelling, so keep expectations sensible.
