El Médano is the obvious surf and windsurf spot in Tenerife. Playa de la Tejita is another strong one, especially if you want a bigger beach with more room and better conditions for board sports.
The east and south east side of the island can get windy, which is great if you’re chasing waves but not so good if you want a calm paddle.
