Teide National Park is the big one, and yes, it really is worth the attention. Anaga Rural Park is the other standout, with wetter, greener, quieter scenery that feels totally different from Teide’s open volcanic emptiness.
Rural de Teno is also excellent if you like rugged roads, steep valleys, and fewer people. If you want somewhere easier and more urban, the parks and gardens around Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz can be a pleasant break.
